The Glendale Community College Planetarium presents cutting-edge immersive 3D real time animation SPONTANEOUS FANTASIA, performed live by artist-programmer-composer J-Walt. The show represents a brand new art form where the one-hour animated program won’t exist until the artist creates it live in front of the audience.

The Omnicentric Universe is J-Walt’s new Spontaneous Fantasia experience with the theme of cosmic and personal exploration.  It’s an ambitious work in which J-Walt creates a planet in real-time and populates it with plants, artifacts, and dancing creatures to tell a story of creation and process told through color, music, and movement.  J-Walt explains the title of his piece: “There isn’t a singular center to the universe, but the universe is not uniform and arbitrary either. We live in a universe of many centers — they’re everywhere.  This is a paradox, but one which I celebrate.”
